Our school has done some amazing things that benefit our town. Last Spring our Mayor Joshua Gooden and several members from our Town Council came and did an assembly for our students and staff about the Elkton Downtown Marketplace. Beginning from then until the end of the school year our students and staffed made donations to the Marketplace building fund. At the end of the school year we presented our Mayor with a check for $1,112.02 for the building of the this wonderful Marketplace. With our donation of a $1,000.00 we will have a plaque with our School name and year forever on the wall of the Marketplace. Our students can now drive by and show their families and children (when they are older), that they helped to build this beautiful centerpiece of our town. We are super proud of our Elks and the pride they take in this community.
